CNOOC Jinwan "Green Energy Port" LNG Project

This project is located in Gaolan Port, Jinwan District, Zhuhai City. The first phase of the project was put into operation in 2013, with an annual liquefied natural gas processing capacity of 3.5 million tons. The second phase of the project is a key project of the national oil and natural gas infrastructure. It started construction in June 2021. Meanwhile, five liquefied natural gas storage tanks with the world's largest single-tank capacity of 270,000 cubic meters each and supporting facilities are being constructed. The area where the project is located has a high seismic fortification level and is currently one of the liquefied natural gas storage tank projects with the most complex geological conditions and the greatest difficulty in seismic design in China. All five storage tanks adopt seismic isolation design, and each storage tank uses 406 sets of seismic isolation rubber bearings.
