The Second Phase Project of Tianjin LNG of the National Oil and Gas Pipeline Network
It is located in the east of the southern port area of Tianjin Port, Binhai New Area, Tianjin. It lies in the sea area on the south side of the southern breakwater and the backfilled area inside the breakwater, on the north side of the Dagu Sha waterway of Tianjin Port, and faces the Tianjin Linhai Economic Zone across the Dagu Sha waterway. The original landform of the onshore area is mainly a marine plain, which had been backfilled and treated during the construction of the first phase. The second phase project is implemented within the site of the first phase, with 6.83 hectares of land requisitioned. After completion, it can meet the annual market demand of 7.25 million tons in 2030.
This project plans to build six storage tanks with a capacity of 220,000 cubic meters each and ten gasification production lines. The maximum gasification capacity of the receiving terminal will reach 65 million cubic meters per day. The receiving terminal consists of the process part, the utility part and the auxiliary part. Among its process units are mainly included: the LNG unloading system, the LNG storage system, the low-pressure outbound transmission system, the BOG (Boil-off Gas) treatment system, the gasification system, the fuel gas system and the utility system. There is a seismic isolation layer between the ground and the storage tanks, which is composed of ground piles and seismic isolation rubber bearings. The seismic isolation layer separates the above-ground structures from the underground pile foundations. Each storage tank adopts 398 sets of LRB1000 seismic isolation bearings, with a total of 2,388 sets of seismic isolation bearings in total.
