- "One Library and One Center" refers to the Luohu District Library and the Luohu District Youth Activity Center. With an investment of 1.248 billion yuan, this project aims to build a new high-standard and high-quality cultural landmark of "One Library and One Center" on its original site. The proposed total building area is 77,077 square meters, and it is expected to be put into use in 2024. The building area of the new Luohu District Youth Activity Center will be increased to 38,000 square meters and will be seamlessly connected to Yijing Station of Metro Line 5. That is to say, people will be able to reach the activity center right after getting out of the subway in the future! With the concept of "piling up mountains and overlapping cities", the new building integrates architecture with nature, reflecting Luohu's feature of "half landscape and half city". The main construction contents include a 21-story library, a 17-story youth activity center and their supporting facilities. This project is a major livelihood project and cultural project in Luohu District, Shenzhen City. It has important livelihood significance for alleviating the contradiction between the supply and demand of cultural venue facilities in Luohu District, improving the public cultural supporting facilities in Luohu District and meeting the cultural life needs of residents in Luohu District.
