Caofeidian LNG Project in Tangshan City, Hebei Province
This project mainly involves the construction of an LNG receiving terminal with an annual handling capacity of 20 million tons, one LNG storage tank with a capacity of 200,000 cubic meters, and two supporting wharves (including two berths). The main functions of this project can be divided into four categories, namely: unloading the LNG transported by ocean-going vessels, storing LNG in storage tanks, pressurizing and gasifying for external transmission, and liquid external transmission.
The Tangshan LNG Project is located in the southern part of the Caofeidian Industrial Zone, covering port engineering, receiving terminal engineering and gas pipeline engineering. The main functions of the project are also divided into four categories, which are: unloading the LNG transported by ocean-going vessels; storing LNG in storage tanks; pressurizing and gasifying for external transmission, and liquid external transmission.
In the first phase of this project, a total of 8 storage tanks with a capacity of 200,000 cubic meters each will be constructed in two stages. After adopting the seismic isolation technology, in addition to maximizing the seismic safety of the LNG storage tanks, it can also accommodate storage tanks with a volume four times larger than that of traditional seismic design, demonstrating unparalleled economic advantages.
