- The Workers' Stadium is located in the Sanlitun area outside the East Second Ring Road in Chaoyang District. It is one of the "Ten Great Buildings" in Beijing on the 10th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. The original building was completed and put into use in 1959. It is a comprehensive sports ground that can accommodate 80,000 spectators, equipped with a standard football field, a 400-meter rubber track and field event venues. The current scale of the main building is 64,000 square meters. In order to host the 2023 Asian Cup, the renovation and reconstruction work of the Workers' Stadium was carried out. After the reconstruction, the total number of seats in the Workers' Stadium is about 65,000, which can not only meet the requirements for hosting the Asian Cup but also take into account the possibility of hosting higher-level international events in the future. The steel structure of the stadium roof canopy is a large-opening space single-layer arch-shell steel structure, which is 271 meters long, 205 meters wide, with the elevation of the arch top at 47.000 meters and the elevation of the arch bottom at 25.290 meters.
