The concrete structure of the terminal building is 210 meters long from north to south and 749 meters wide from east to west. It belongs to an ultra-long and large structure with an irregular structural shape. By adopting the isolation technology and leveraging the deformation capacity of the isolation bearings, the impact of concrete shrinkage of the floor slab on the structure has been effectively addressed.

As an important lifeline project in Hainan Province, the terminal building's adoption of the isolation technology can ensure its normal operation under the action of a major earthquake, which is of great significance for the future earthquake relief work in Hainan Province.
